Seasonal Membership Offer
Here is a reminder of the great seasonal deal we are offering on membership. From January 1st, pay for the whole of 2017/18 season and you can become a member straight away – that’s up to 3 months extra free! Don’t forget our referral scheme for membership. Introduce a new full member to the club and you will get a £10 voucher to take off your own renewal fee.
Souper Social Tennis and Mini Quiz Evening – 13th January
On Friday 13th January please join us for a great night of tennis followed by soup, with a mini quiz on sports and general knowledge to round off the evening.
Social tennis and soup will run from 6.30pm to 9pm, with the quiz from 9pm.
If you wish to attend the whole evening it will cost £5 per person (inc soup). If you want to come along and pit your wits only, the mini-quiz is £2 per person (nibbles provided).
Vina Espana! – 28th January
Postponed from last month, Alex Lake is holding another of his wine tasting evenings on Saturday 28th January. Here is a chance to sample the wines of Spain, washed down with plenty of information and nibbles. Tickets are £18 per head. Please sign up on the list in the clubhouse.
Match Balls
For those not already aware, we sell balls previously used in matches (against other clubs or internally such as team tennis). These can be bought for £1 per can of 4 balls.
Court Safety
At this time of year, the courts can be slippery. Players are reminded of their own responsibility with respect to playing in poor weather conditions. We want our members to stay safe.
Please note, we still wish to keep the courts in as good a condition as possible and so are still asking that court 1 only be used when all other courts are busy.
Ballot for Wimbledon Tickets
Another reminder that you have until February 17th to opt in to the BLTC Wimbledon Ballot. This is important for two reasons. Firstly, the club’s allocation of tickets will be based on the number of its members doing this. Secondly, as a club member you will only be eligible to be entered into our draw if you have completed the opt in process. You will need your BTM username and password to sign in.

Junior Coaching Groups
Spring term 2017 weekly junior courses are now available to book. Just use the link below to go to our website where you can download a form. There are courses available for all ages and abilities, and most have a Saturday or weekday option. Please note that the early bird discount has now increased to £15 per player. This is only available if you book and pay for your chosen course(s) 5 or more days before the start of the course.

Adult weekly spring term course forms are also available to book. Groups are split into beginners/improvers, advanced improvers and intermediate level.
