🎾 Junior Weekly Groups – Spring Term 2026

Our Junior Weekly Groups are a fantastic way for children to improve their tennis skills, make friends, and stay active in a fun, supportive environment.
To book a place, simply complete the online form below. You’ll receive an email confirming your spot and payment details.

🗓️ Course Dates & Fees

Saturdays: 10th January – 28th March (11 weeks)
Fee: £120.00 (Members) / £140.00 (Non-members)

Course Times:

  • 9.00 a.m. – Mini Tennis Red Starter/Improver (ages 5–8)

  • 9.00 a.m. – Mini Tennis Orange (ages 8–10)

  • 10.00 a.m. – Green & Yellow Starter (ages 10+)

  • 11.00 a.m. – Yellow Improvers (ages 11+)

  • 12.00 p.m. – Yellow Advanced Improvers (ages 11+)

  • 1.00 p.m. – Junior Intermediate (ages 11+)

Tuesdays: 6th January – 24th March (11 weeks)
Fee: £130.00 (Members) / £150.00 (Non-members)

  • 4.30 p.m. – Yellow Starter / Improver (ages 11+)

Wednesdays: 7th January – 25th March (11 weeks)
Fee: £130.00 (Members) / £150.00 (Non-members)

  • 4.00 p.m. – Mini Tennis Red (ages 5–8)

  • 5.00 p.m. – Mini Orange/Green/Yellow (ages 8+)

  • 5.00 p.m. – Yellow Improvers

Early bird: Book and pay 7+ days before the course starts to receive £20 off the published fee

(No sessions Monday 16th – Sunday 22nd February – Half Term)

⚠️ Important Notices

Child Collection:
Parents must collect children from the back of the courts, not from the car park or Gloucester Road.

Primary School Children:
Children of primary school age will remain with coaches until collected.
If your child is allowed to go home alone, please provide a written note.

Priority for Places:

  1. Barnet LTC members

  2. Returning players from previous courses

  3. Order of applications received (with payment at least 7 days before course start)

Clothing & Footwear:
Please dress your child in comfortable sportswear suitable for running and movement, such as a T-shirt, shorts or leggings, and trainers with flat, non-marking soles.
(No studs or hard-soled shoes, please.)

Choosing the Right Group:
Returning players should stay in the same course unless advised otherwise.
If you’re unsure, please contact one of the coaching team for guidance.

Weather & Cancellation Policy

  • Weather Updates: If conditions are unfit for play, a text message will be sent 30–60 minutes before the session where possible.

  • In-Progress Sessions: No refunds or credits are issued for sessions lasting 20 minutes or more before being stopped due to weather.

  • Cancelled Sessions: If a session is cancelled due to weather or unsafe conditions, every effort will be made to reschedule or offer an alternative group session within the same week or term.

  • Make-Up Sessions: Players may attend another suitable group session (subject to availability) to make up for cancelled lessons.

  • Credits: Credit vouchers may be issued only if no reasonable make-up or reschedule option is available. Credits will be issued at the end of the course term and must be used for the next available course.

  • Refunds: No cash refunds will be issued for cancellations due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control.

  • Missed Sessions: Credits or make-up sessions are not available for missed sessions (e.g. holidays or illness).

  • When in Doubt: Please come to the club to check if play is possible.
